On a whim She loved him And he promised he loved her too He followed his whim Proclaimed his sin

The girl assured Gave into his lure And followed him to the end of the land The boy was assured He would follow his word Because death is ones last stand
They settled down The girl with a frown Because the boy had now fallen ill He lay once more down Under dirt mounds Making his obligation, Nill
The girl now grew Her wisdom anew That to die
Poetry to meTo me, poetry is art.Poetry to me
I have never been gifted with the kinesthetic ability of looking at a beautiful landscape and rendering into an equally lovely compisition of Paper and water colors.
I do not have the ability of drawing how I feel in all of its abstract beauty.
What I CAN do is write it out. To me poetry is about creating art, with words. Molding a feeling, emotion or scene, with words. And my greatest joy in poetry is re-creating a coporal thought or event, so as you read the 'Poetry' you get the same feeling as you would have if you were actualy looking at a sunset, crying untill you fall asleep,
